My name is Edo and living in the hart of the Netherlands in a place called Utrecht.
I am a fan of looking for new unknown places and love to come back to the nice one. I regularly stop to see if there is a nice angle for making a picture.
I didn’t have this interest from birth but actually only came around 2018 when I made my first solo trip to Japan
During my preparation of this Japan trip I knew I didn’t want to joined a prearranged group tour and so i knew i had to do it my self. I gathered all the information there was so I was sure I didn’t miss anything. During my trip I often noticed that on the way to a place of interest I often saw 1 or more other nice places that I had not included in my travel order.
This was when i started to look around evey corner and took as much as possible pictures. While preparing this trip I noticed that a lot of the question i had were asked in facebook groups. This give the idea of starting Edo Japan Travel where i like to share all the nice places I find on and offline.
In 2023 and 2024 family from abroad came to visit us, and asked about things to do in the Netherlands and surrounding countries. This made me look to my own environment like I was looking at Japan. why shouldn’t i do the same for my country and the places i visit. And so that gave birth to Edo the Explorer
